INTRAVENOUS THERAPY (IV MEDICINE)
Intravenous therapy is the infusion of healing substances into the body through a vein. It is comfortable, highly effective and useful in many different conditions.
Dr. Korsunsky will first assess your current state of health and goals and review your lab test results before creating a personalized IV recipe for you. Typically an IV treatment includes water or saline, B vitamins, Vitamin C, Calcium, magnesium, zinc, selenium, or additional minerals. Many other ingredients may be used. The treatment can take from 25 minutes to 3 hours, depending on the recipe, and your health. Average is about one hour’s time.
Iv therapy typically improves energy, provides the body with easy to use nutrients for better organ function, supports the brain and memory, detoxification of hormones and toxins, and hydrates. It can be very helpful for muscle tension and sleep as well! Iv therapy can be used as a preventative treatment for general health, or as a part of a treatment plan for a chronic condition, as discussed below.
